... directly under my skin. Now Taylor shows her true potential and I‘m happy and thankful she does. Those earlier pop albums never made it for me, too boring and always the same mass market stuff. Just shallow. When I hear „Willows“ from this one here and „Cardigan“ from the previous album omg she is a diamond really starting to shine! The videos for these songs are great too! What a great step forward! So many great ideas and such deep emotional impact, l‘m in love...

I don’t know how people are excited about this. Literally, I cannot understand it - sure, as a hardcore fan, I’d probably be excited as well, but as a casual listener, this record is just way too bland and boring, just like the record before. Maybe she’s trying to channel McCartney and Lennon? I don’t know, but it certainly didn’t work.
